Has anyone personally installed this by themselves, just curious before I make a purchase.

What color is the exterior?

Alpine white

I installed a complete about a year ago. The hardest part was figuring out how to get the console out. Other than that it is pretty easy. BTW - there was a guy selling complete OEM kits on ebay last year for $299.

This one is OEM as well and includes the door handles which are hard to find.

Just seen this post on the price $789. So im guessing the one on ebay is a great deal. im still contemplating, cause i dont want to do the install myself.

Is this for the exterior or interior trim?

I can't get to the link from work (ebay is blocked) to see exactly what you're buying, but assuming it's the exterior trim set, wouldn't it be different on 2000-2003 and 2004-2006 models? How can the ad say 2001-2005?

Its for the interior Trim. Application is for E53, but was wondering if it fits other BMW models as well.

Exterior. Just make sure you correctly install the ashtray cover on top of the hood and not on the roof as some people sometimes do by mistake.

too bad this kit is missing the rear door trim and the front dash pieces. good luck finding the rest of them. but hey, they will always be at the dealer for a huge amount
