Rear door not unlocking through remote

One of the rear door is not unlocking through the remote or interior switch. I can manually open it by opening the door twice. The door locks fine.

Any ideas on the issue? Actuator or electrical issue? Tried searching. Thanks.

Is there a valet function on the X5 you might have switched by accident?

the actuators start to go bad. I have two of them that work intermittently. to change you have to take off the door panel. check realoem for part price
