Chrome 20" 87s?
 

Local guy is selling chrome 20" style 87 wheels for $600 (replicas). I love the 87 look, but didn't really want to go chrome - your thoughts? Pass or too good of a deal to pass up?

Do you have any photos, are you just getting the wheels or the tires as well?

Normally, I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels. But, it looks pretty good on my car. Price is right and if you like them, buy it!!

Love 87's but not a fan of chrome...i vote to buy and powdercoat :thumbup:

By the time you pay to refinish them you could just buy a set that are silver, unless they come with tires, but even then, it's not really worth it to change them. Personally, I am anti-chrome.

I love 87's, but I vote no on the chrome.

I have oem style 87's, the tires are worn out. If I decide to sell just the wheels, how much would I get for them. 2 are in great condition and 2 have curb rash.

IMO, the only chrome on an X5 (or any bimmer for that) should be on the bonnet & rear hatch roundels plus the standard badging at front fenders and rear. Come to think of it, there's not that much chrome on BMW's.
Something just not right about chrome rims on an X5, however I do respect other members choices.
