CV Boot

Sooo, my right front is ripped open and I have a cpo. I have searched and it sounds like the axle is covered but not the boot.. Any advice as to how I should put this into words when I bring this up to the sa tomorrow..When it rains .... some ********backed into our driver door and took off this morning...

I want to say I've read on here somewhere where others have had cpo cover the repair but don't quote me on that one. I would check your neighbors rear bumpers for paint swapping . . . yea that sucks. Good luck with both.

I hate that for you. I was hit in a parking lot a few weeks back. Over $2,000 in damage when all was said and done. It is in a great shop right now getting fixed and my deductible was $0. My insurance counted it an uninsured property damage to my vehicle and for that I had no deductible. I know insurance coverage/policies vary by state and company, but you may want to look into what yours actually covers.

If I am already hearing a clank on the left front, is my CV gone or can I still get away with only a repair kit?

killcrap 04-08-2010 07:16 AM

the outter joint is replaceable separately.
