Spirited Canyon Run with 4.6 Video
 

Just thought I would share a spirited canyon run video. A friend is in a local Infinity G club and I decided to tag along. This was my first time driving the X to this limit. I was impressed for the most part except with the front tires, Diamaris. These tires just slide around. Verdestein out back performed great.

:iagree: Are those Infi's stock or modded? I didnt think that they were that quick. have you raced them before.

Some were modded with coil overs and such. I was at the back of the pack as I was just tagging along. So we were only going as fast as the slowest driver in the group. I definitely could have gone faster in most cases, but I would want different tires up front.

Looks like fun - I will be happy to get mine back on the road this week and to putting the 20's back on it and the snow tires away. Although ski season is not quite done, so I may need to leave the snows on for a few more weekends.

That said, I am also eyeing this pretty little red 2002 S6 with 48K miles on it that I may just trade my X5 for.....

I want to move to cali. Nice video. ONce the fronts are done I would imagine vredsteins for you? Do you have the eibach swaybar kit and upper tower brace?

I have the sway bars but not the upper brace and yes on the Vreds on the front.

The factory colour rear led lights would look nice on your X!

1) Nice video
2) Where's the vibration noise coming from? The radar detector or the camera? That would drive me crazy after a while.
3) Unless you're saving up for a new ride, get the Dinan strut brace and don't look back. It does make a difference.

I know, the rattling noise was driving me nuts. It was the camera mount. It was the first time I used it in the X and I think I did something wrong when I mounted.

Thats good to know its worth it. Funds are a little tight right now, but it is on my list.

I am thinking of going with smoked red LED tails. Some days I like the clear smoke and others not so much. I still need to put my silver turn bulbs in that I bought a while back.

You cyclists are some brave souls.

Yeah they are nice, i do like the look of the red LED ones with the clear indicator, hard to finds ones with led indicators built in though unless anyones of ones that are different, its usually just the tail and brake light that are LED but they do give it a really nice fresh oem look....everyones tastes are different i guess...

Also - I agree - get the smoked tail lights....much better match for your beast!!! you will be able to sell those clear LED's at a good price right here on the forum...

Are they not the tinted version he has on there now and not the clear?! the rear clear LED lights iv seen are the same as oem but led with the clear indicator:confused:

i think the smoke or the oem type with clear indicator would look so fresh on your car....where have you seen the smoked ones for sale?
