Restore Leather
Hi.
My seats are a bit worn, with white cracks here and there. I thought about getting a repair kit from this site BMW | Leatherique Restoration Products Does anyone know which of these bmw OEM colors which match the grey and black seats.? It's a 2001.. |
This link is better... It has color codes for all BMW's.
Leather Dye Color Chart - leather repair kit, vinyl repair kit, leather cleaner, leather cleaning, leather dye & paint |
Thanks for the tip again mrbmwx5..;)
Do you by any chance know the name of the grey part of the dual colored seats.? |
The color codes you need.
0519 Charcoal 917 Black |
Much obliged..:)

Many BMW's, not all BMW's.

Hi Ekvals,
Can't help with colours, but that's taken care of already. I have used Leatherique on my X and results were outstanding. This product is really something as it brought out years of all sorts like food, sweat, drink etc. If you run with this product try and leave it on (the Restorer prep stuff) as long as possible (12 hrs +) before moving on to the Cleaner. End result was like new leather, very soft and supple with a pleasing odour. Cracks are a different story, I believe Leatherique can help with those as well. Good move to make good now as it/they will only get worse. GL. |
Hi Xfoomph..:)
Helpful as always. i see..:) Which products did you use for retoration.? Just the restorer and the cleaner.? My seats might not be as bad as i imagin.. I will try and post some pics over the weekend, to see what you guys think.. Thanks..:) |

Okey.. Thanks for the tip..:) I'll be getting some of that stuff...:)
Yeah, i think it still looks great..:) Had the ccv issue this winter. plus i had to replace the disa valve. Along with some other small things, it was a tough winter.. But I'm looking forward to the spring comming up.. To get it polished and exchange the 18" winter wheels, with the 20" summer wheels..:) |
I look forward to your comments and thoughts of the Leatherique, come back when all done please.
|
Hmmm..
I see that Home Page | Leatherique Restoration Products does not offer international shipping..:( Where do you get the products X foomph..? And how much approx. do you pay for a 32oz kit..? Should i go for the 32oz, or 16 sufficient.? |

Hi Ekvals,
After some toing and froing with the US manufacturers, I managed to find an Australian distributor. The company (agent) here is: Permanent Painted Coatings, this is their website: http://por15.com.au/ Contact is Rob: [email protected] They typically deal to the automotive paint and trim trades. They shipped my little order up from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. So glad they did. Hopefully they'll help you out as well. I can't remember the exact amount but it was in the vicinity of $60Au for the whole kit. Money well spent I say. I reckon the 16oz bottles will be sufficient as I still have plenty of cleaner left over, not much rejuvenator though. GL, let me know how you get on. X Foomph |
Thanks X foomph..:)
I found a site which provide the products in the northern countries.. Leatherique Danmark is situated in Denmark, and they ship to other countries.:) |
Well done,
Now stop typing and start cleaning  |
Ha ha..

Hi.
I received the product this week, and tried it a couple of days ago on the front passenger seat, and, WOW.. It really brought the new "look" out.. I haven't had the time to do the drivers seat, but i get amazed everytime i see the difference of the two seats.. I could take some pics, but im sure it wount justify how good it looks..!!.:) |
Hi Ekvals,
Good to see you finally got hold of the 'magic potion'. It really is good stuff as you stated. I'm sure you won't be dissappointed. |
