Paintin my Rims tonight...What color?
 

I am painting E70 Y spokes to put on my ride. I was thinking Gloss black with a fine outer red pin strip...others say graphite grey...Any suggestions?

Your right. Gloss Black with a Imola Red Pin stripe. Never seen it done before with a pin stripe.

The black wheels could look great, not so sure about a red lip though.

The "Time Attack" style is a fading trend.

I would go with matte black on IR. Not a 4.8 but you get the idea. Those are E53 rims not E70 lol

If you aren't sure which color to paint your rims, then maybe you should wait... Just sayin'.

Or go the simoncpw route and photoshop all the ideas onto your ride to see what you like before doing it. That was a really cool idea he did.

Sethro I like your rims thats what I was thinking. Sorry the rims I am puttin on are the E70 Y spokes not the ones in the pic.....

I new I couild count on you guys for advice....sighhh such a tough call.....worse comes to worse I can always repaint

Very rarely have I liked the looks of the car with a painted rim. The color combo should work for the whole thing to come out right. I also suggest some photoshop to get your look first. (Check tirerack.com and see if they have your car's color, and try various wheel colors on it just for comparison.)
