upgrading X5 3.0 wheels

I'm planning to upgrade my X5 from 18" to 19 or 20" BMW replica. Can you guys please let me know if it is just removel and install or is shims required. I have an X5 3.0. Thanks.

Its a straight forward install.Just ensure that your new wheels have the correct Offset(ET).
