I hate rattles

Hey fellow X5ers. I've search and could not come up with this one. But hopefully I run into someone that has or had this issue. I have a pre faced X5 with Sunroof. There is a piece inside the sunroof assembly that rattles while I'm driving. It's not too loud but annoying if you like to keep your ride as close as perfect as possible. I stuck my fingers between the roof and the headliner where the glass would slide into. I feel a middle bracket and if I hold it still, the rattle stops. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, is there a fix?

Try resetting the sunroof and also use lubricant on all the rubber seals and all that stuff.

What I did was install felt with an adhesive bottom on the top side of the metal flip up windscreen. Do the whole top and your on to the next one

This is what I always have to do. It's fine but I shouldn't become to comfortable at doing this. It should not squeak, because it's not suppose to. I'll probably try lubing and what JST mentioned below. Thank guys. I know this will work.

How do you reset the sunroof.??

I also have this squeek.. It's not too bad, but it shouldn't be there, so i really want to get rid of it..

Ill try and lubricate the rubber seals tomorrow..

Make sure you use the correct lubricant. There is a specific one you should use. Here's the reset info (in fact, read that whole thread as it's pretty good):
