The New DVDGPSNavigation radio
I was just wondering if anyone installed the new DVDGPSNavigation radio yet, and if so, how do you like it? Heres a copy of the website DVDGPSNavigation.com

for 600 bucks, i rather use my vzw droid that will always have a supported map/gps system...
this company is about 3 years too late to the game... if they came out with this product when the ipod and bt integrations were just starting, this may have taken off.. but now with android powered car media systems coming out, this whatever os version it is, is doomed... plus it relies on other gps software which... |
I agree that they came out late into the game but I have to say that I still will be interested at purchasing this soon...

I went to the site, love the system... Can it come with sat connection?
|
seems all right and easy to install.
the website doesn't offer much info, guess have to install satnav software and map on a SD how has ordered or installed one? first hand experience is highly valued:) |
I'm installing an Xtron 9953 Android unit. I have the main wire led to the back and connected. The unit turns on but I have no sound. I'm replacing the large screen factory unit, in a 2006 4.8is. It had a DVD player, a CD player and an amplifier stacked to the left in the trunk. I have removed the DVD and CD units. someone said 'connect the blue wire on the canbus harness to 12 volt" That confused me.

There are dozens of threads on this site about doing that. A popular option is the Resler iBus adapter and iBus software (applicable to android headunits only). |
Holy 10 year old thread bump! :yikes:

Not 10 for me, I'm just getting started.
