rear fogs to rear brake lights??
 

I am thinking about changing my rear fog lamps to work with brake lamps, I did some research all bulbs are 12v 21w, what if I change the wiring from rear fogs to the break lamps would I be putting too much load on the LCM?:dunno:

Or can i change all 4 bulbs to 10w each ??????

What you are thinking of doing should work just fine. I did that on my 2001 X5 about 7 years ago and have never had an issue.

Please post instructions/pictures (some sort of DIY) if and when you decide to do this. Would using LEDs (which should draw less than 21W) in the fogs without changing the regular brake light bulbs be a better alternative? Thanks.
