Crunching/Grinding noise

Hi all,

I noticed last night while driving my 4.8is that when I pull up to a slightly inclined curb (as in driving into a gas station where you dont do a full turn but you kinda pull your car up sideways to go to the first pump), i hear a crunching/grinding sound up front and my car seems to brake.

Has anybody experienced this? what could be wrong? Axles? Front diff?

Thanks,

check your swaybar endlinks. thats a cheap 80 fix and you hear them going over bumps they will clunk and clank and clink

unless its the abs going off if the tire comes off the ground

i'm thinking a cv boot shit the bed without you knowing....now you may need a new axle on that side...perhaps could be causing some seizing!

Weasel or Meister could probably nail this one down for you!
