TPMS?
Does the 2006 X5 4.8is have a TPMS sensor mounted on the rim?

my '05 4.4i does have them, so the 4.8is will have them for sure too :)

It's not in the rim, it's a speed sensor in the axle. Maybe not the best description of it, but it isn't actually mounted in the wheel.

No tpms sensor in the wheels. Only on some Canadian models. If your warning light is on and your tire pressures are ok. Check the fault memory of the EHC2. an error in this module causes the tire light to come on. If you have close to 30,000 miles or
more check the front air shocks for leaks. |
