Inspection I vs. II

I've searched the boards to find more info but there doesn't seem to be much available. My '06 4.8is just turned 60k and the Inspection light came on today. I've scheduled an appointment with the dealer (I know it's more expensive) for Inspection I. However, I'm getting mixed signals elsewhere online about whether it needs Inspection I or II at that mileage. Dealer told me $338. for Inspection I which didn't seem too bad but do I need II instead?

It depends on what was done at the last inspection, but 60,000 miles is usually time for Inspection II. I have attached a link with the mileages, and the content of each inspection.

Just got II done the other day. $264 at indy. '05 4.8-55.5k

Holy cow, I need to visit your dealer. Mine wants $900 for Inspection II on my '04 4.4. Local trusted indie wants $750

What services did they actually perform for this price? Some indy's can have different opinions of what an inspection covers.
