Sorry about that, for Clarification the recirculation button should be OFF. To allow the spray and outside air to enter the car cabin.

thats a hell of a job... time consuming but well worth it. i 2 will give it a go

I had the same problem a couple of years ago. Try replacing the cabin filter.
