Another Reason Why I love having an X5

I was driving back up to school, and as soon as i got onto Route 80 in Ledgewood, NJ, i saw a Maroon X5 on the road. Obviously, i jumped right behind him. We drove together all the way up until i got off the exit in NY for Ithaca. (about 150 miles later)

It was pretty cool, we didnt know eachother at all but we became road friends just by sharing a common interest in our X5. :D

If youre on this forum, come out and say hi!

I snapped a pic..

He thought he was being followed by a BMW driving axe murderer and passed his exit and drove for 125 miles because he feared that you would follow him to his home.

lol jk, im just jealous that I don't see the same sort of camaraderie up here.

Its a good feeling of 'brotherlyhood' when keeping company of each other (X behind X), but in my case its rare we ve such incidences, mostly its either one is too damn fast (kinda challenging you) or you just see an X on the opposite lane... but mostly you can drive 500km your X5 is the only official X5 on the highway!... do I mind? Nuh! :D I love it that way then I dont share the SPOT LIGHT when I hit the road!

One thing I love is the RESPECT not only by other motorists but also Police at check points will give you that little respect.

lol its funny but everytime I see an X5 besides mine we always double up everyone else and run the street xD pretty fun to do with a few X5s together....

I believe that everyone is entitled to their opinion - that is what makes America the greatest country on Earth - so here's mine: Would it be possible for x5world members to express their differences in a respectful and communicative manner rather than setting up a particular population as a scapegoat to alienate rather than embrace? I do not believe it is right to demoralize or denigrate another human being no matter what their background.
