sync (pairing) portable bluetooth gps system to bmw voice command system
 

I have a bmw 2005 x5 without navigation. But I can pair my razer phone to the bmw voice command system. I can make hands free phone calls with my razer phone through the bmw voice command system.

Does any know if you can sysnc (pair) a portable bluetooth gps system to the bmw voice command system? If this could be done, does this mean that the gps directions will come out of the speaker system of the bmw? Would the sounds of the radio/cd player mute when the gps directions comes on? What would happen if I am making or reciving a phone call (my phone is also sync to the bmw voice command system).

Have anyone tried?? If you tired this let me know if it works and if it does or does not do the things I asked about.

I am no BT expert by any means, but I don't think a BT device can "pair" with a third device. Monogamy, no menage. :) In other words, I don't think the BMW can be synced with your phone and the GPS unit at the same time.

I tried Syncing with my Nuvi 765 with no luck so i doubt u can sync with GPS devices. But u can always turn the volume up on the gps and it works like a charm.
