Question from my brother

My bro has a 06 X5 3.0 with Panorama roof. After he opens it, it will not close all the way, he has to move a small bar or post in the left rear portion of the glass.

Has anyone run into such a thing, if so, is there an DIY fix for this?

the rail is damaged. has it replaced, then he will be fine. it is a labor intensive job, both the left and right rails are not expensive, but the labor does cost.
