A/C intake filter
 

Hi all,
Does anyone know if the X has a filter(like charcoal) on the A/C system or where the intake is? I just wanna check on it to see that all is well, since I live in Vegas and summer is upon us :D Thanks

All cars have micron airfilters. it is located in a little compartment right under the wipers. No tools needed. Just three twist rivots and the flap opens down.

Also, there are two filters offered by BMW, normal and charcoal (carbon activated). I believe that they replace the micron filter every inspection with a normal one; you have to request for the charcoal one.

Yes, it removes odors and pollutants. Kind of like an N.B.C. suit for your cabin:D
