Eibach Swaybar Kit!!!!!!!!!

Since I just finished the install on the 2.5" lowering setup I have to say that the trigger is pulled for the eibach Kit. From what I hear this kit will dramatically reduce body roll and deliver tighter cornering( thats what I need)...MORE MORE MOREMODS!!!!!
the great part was I have patiently been waiting for a good deal to come up and by god it did this morning. One was available on Ebay from a company that was moving its location and the price was set at 369.75. I hopped on it and didnt look back. should be getting it in a week or so, I cant wait. Ill pop some pics of the install once I get it in my grasp.

Great price and you are going to love them.

Finally! :) Glad you got them...we will be waiting.

jst2878 05-26-2010 12:27 PM

thanks guys. i couldnt pass this deal up. i remember dpgx5 that you did a whole bunch of suspension mods all together so you couldnt really decipher the feeling of the eibachs. ill let you know what i feel once installed. I wonder if I have to take off the aluminum reinforcement plate to get the front one on?

As I recall we removed the plate to install the front bar. The back was super easy, but the front a little more difficult. It only goes in one way and takes some finagling to get it in.

How long depends if you are on a lift and air tools or doing on jack stands. The back was like 10 min. and the front was about 45 min. only because of the finagling. Don't forget to grease the bushings up with the supplied grease.

OK Justin ... are we gonna have a race course setup with cones at the parking lot at the meet! :D

Hhmm .. does this mean I have to buy a second X as a track 'car'?!

BTW ... are we gonna need to do any work on your X at the meet again. Just saying, I wanna know if I need to bring the laptop GT1!

Not too close, LOL! Its in CONNECTICUT. (see the link at the top of the forum. Come on out and meet everybody!)

Hey fellow murlander .. nice to see more people around our area. If you ever want to get together some time just PM me.

dpgx5 05-26-2010 02:44 PM

Hey Justin, I actually did these first :) pull up that thread and youll see.
For the fronts you have to remove the protection plate 6 bolts. and you migggghtt have to lower the front subframe a bit. Just remember to torque it all up after. Rear was breeze nothing to it can probably do it in your driveway but no no for front :)

Jose, I would love to tackle the reprogram for the airbag delete. I'll have to pm weasel or killcrap for thorough instructions.

I'm game if you're game. Hopefully, won't be too bad like the cluster swap.

jst2878 05-27-2010 10:45 AM

Should be worse. Lol. I'll check with one of the pros on this one. I'll bring the extension cord and patron
