Door Latch/Lock

I have a similar problem to what many refer as the frozen door lock problem. The only thing is I get it randomly and not just in cold weather. I was in outer banks three weeks ago and the door would not open, it was 85 degrees out. From the inside the door does not open, from the outside you have to pull hard to get it to open. The door closes fine every time, I never had a problem with it not closing. Any idea what could be causing this or how to fix this? Thanks

i've had the same exact problem on the front passenger door about a year ago. it happeneed a few times (it was about 60 degrees) and the problem just went away on its own.

Possibly one of the release arms on the latch assembly rusted/dragging. There was a thread somewhere on here with good pics etc showing the problem. If that's the case it isn't anything some good spray lube like PBblaster can't fix.
