Best source for Belts
Any strong opinions on which (if any) parts store has the best fan/accesories belts for a 2006 4.4i?
I want to buy local, not online. |
I don't know where you live or what is local to you, but I would buy belts in this order;
1 - OE from dealer 2 - OEM Continental belts 3 - generic local parts store belts |
Thank you.
What I am asking is if anyone has used belts from O'reily's, Auto Zone, etc. If you have used any of those shops and have had good luck with the products, I'd be interested in hearing. |
I have used those belts a few times here and there, but don't remember which ones were better than others. I do know that Autozone carries Goodyear Gatorback belts for the X5 as well as their house brand (Duralast I think).

Hermes makes some nice ones as does Calvin Klein, though I like Ralph Lauren too.

VERY cool. You better market that sucker, and fast before a Chinese company decides to knock it off and sell it cheap. BTW, the last photo it looks like your belt is digesting a small animal.
