Ran out of Diesel - cannot clear dash alarm

Ran out of diesel on my e53 20 metres from the pump - fuelled up to tank full and run 100 miles since - all perfect but I cannot clear the "FUEL INJECT.SYSTEM" alarm on the dash
Rang the servicing dealer and he thought it may clear "eventually"
Anyone experienced this

Took it to an independant with a "£5000.00 resetting machine" - "resets anything" - he FAILED!
Took it to Bluebell BMW in Wilmslow - cured in 30 minutes - great service from them:D:D
