***Newbie, 2004 BMW X5 4.8is***
 

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, and share with the forum my most recent acquisition, a 2004 X5 4.8is, one-owner, 32K miles, in showroom condition.

I have already purchased a few goodies for her, including: a brand new ZCP M3 Alcantara SMG steering wheel with Mr.Paddleshift's retrofit kit; and BimmerNav's Bluetooth system.

I believe bluetooth became standard with 10/2004 production with 2005 models.

Such a great find, an 04 with only 32k miles. CONGRATULATIONS but even better, WELCOME. I love the M3, i'm actually in the market for a used one but the right one has not presented itself yet.

Awesome ride, but I would probably go with leather on the wheel on a DD. That alcantara will pill within the next 20k miles (unless you drive with gloves) and drive you nuts.

Interesting. The E46 M3 comes with bluetooth for MY04 for cars with Assist.

You really cleaned those wheels! Even the inner wheel part! :yikes:
