I got them balanced twice, and alignment print out is here in this thread.
http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...alignment.html DriversideRear cant go any further in spec, would subframe bushes cause a dip cause BMW check and said all is good on the susp. components. I feel that its the wraped rotors or caliper... |
If it shakes without any braking, it wouldn't be rotors. If they are using proper balancing equipment they can give printouts from that too. They can also check the roadforce of the tires in case it is caused by soft/hard spots in the sidewalls etc. My favorite tire balance quote is "You can balance a brick, but you can't make it round."
|
If not rotors, would it be a caliper stuck? There is a slight wear on the left tire like cupping, would that cause a problem in the shake? feel like its coming from the front though
|
No. The tire wear is due to worn suspension components, or alignment, and the two are often related (ie with worn suspension components, you can't get a proper alignment).
If you think it is tires, rotate them front and rear and see if it is any different. |
I dont think i can, i have a staggared setup. I thought that the wear was from that but if you look at my alignment printout, the toe was off way more on the right side and tire was perfect but the left side rear was close but camber was more extreme and that tire is worn on the inside, i can take a pic and post it
