Headlamp Mystery
 

Hi Guys,
I have a 2002 X5, and I've replaced the bulbs for my two lowbeam headlamps several times (I use gloves when touching the bulbs). This time, however, after I replaced my driver side headlamp's blown-out bulb with a brand new bulb, it didn't fix the problem.

I can't figure out why the lamp won't turn back on after installing the new bulb.

Could it be the fuse? If yes, where exactly do you locate the fuse? (The glovebox fuse box doesn't list "headlamps" or "headlights" and the fuse box in the trunk doesn't have a fuse map at all.)

Does any one know what is wrong or have suggestions for how I can diagnose and fix the problem? Thanks!
