Dual zone airconditioning problems

Hello all;
Has anyone had a noticeable temperature difference between driver v/s passenger zones?...My GT1 scanner shows no faults and A/C system is serviced correctly.. Just the passenger side is warmer by about 10 degrees.
I did replace the dual zone heater valve assembly, still same problem.
:dunno:

That is what happens when the ac charge level gets a bit low, the drivers side stays cold while the passengers side doesn't cool as well.

Step 1 should be to go to a shop with automatic ac machines, have it recovered, vacuumed then recharged to 0.98lbs R134a. That should get it blowing properly cold. Then have a quick leak check done as the refrigerant doesn't just disappear.

Sounds like it worth a try, before tearing into the dash.
Thanks

Just as you said;
The freon was at .48lbs and once serviced bothe zones work normally...As to where did it go? the evaporator is what the dealer is calling out. They want $4000. Ouch!!!
I`ll do it myself when it actually stops working.
Thanks for the info.

P.S. good luck with the move:thumbup:
