which is best for the money?

Hi guys,

well just saw these and love the no yellow and black out look but not sure about quality so heres the ebay link

01 02 03 BMW E53 X5 CCFL HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BLK: eBay Motors (item 230523744243 end time Sep-15-10 08:11:05 PDT)

and this is one offered here that looks nice too

the price difference is significant about 200 vs 600 so for whats its worth i can buy 3 vs 1 but i like to stick to as oem look as possible.

any thoughts are welcome!!!

If you dont have adaptive headlights then get whatever you like better, buying something because its cheap most time results in getting the one you want later in life. IMHO

If I didnt have adaptive lights I would go with EAS, better setup, i think they are a sponsor here and from what ive heard have great customer service.

alot of members on the board has gotten the DEPO ones and were very happy with the results. but i was surprised at how nice the ebay ones do look. for 200 dollars i guess its worth a try see.

the only thing holding me back is that I dont know the exact quality of the ebay ones and like you said Yii for the money and the looks the ebay ones are not bad at all. hell if they last at least 3 yrs i can get 3 of them to last me 9 yrs lol who knows if ill have the X then but my point was they look good now i dont know about the DEPO ones on here but im thinking maybe ill be the guinea pig and possible buy and try. maybe!

anyone who bought the DEPO want to jump in with some thoughts?

ArtMan 09-14-2010 08:38 PM

the only thing stopping me is that you see the DEPO ones the High beam is larger then the regular beam. and the one on ebay the way their photographed you cant tell. From the side it looks like their both the same but i cant be sure so im still waiting for the seller to respond back and he hasn't said if its for xenon lights or not ive seen the term projector head lights used loosely so i need to know for sure.

I know what you mean but ive been reading the forums and some people have had their AE go out on those units. Now i dont know the reasoning but sometimes just cuz their cost more doesnt equal quality. Im not trying to bash it I actually realy like it and i too think like you if your doing some or buying something then you might aswell buy it or do it once. But its still 3 vs 1 cost wise and uhhhh why cant this be an easy decision lol
