Did anybody try to wire the cam on the PDC module? This way you would be able to control it via the PDC button on the console too (on/off on demand), beside automatically triggering itself when the car is in reverse.

Guys, this is still on the topic I'm sure. Ever since I changed my license plate lights to a backup camera that comes with a LED light substitute for the license plate light, I've been getting the "Check License Plate Light" message on the dash!

Is there a capacitor or circuit I can install to get rid of this message???

Yes, it can be tricked that way (there should be a bunch of DIY on google). Or you can disable the warning with Navcoder or some other similar tool. I will go the Navcoder way when I get mine.

Full Metal... getting ready to pull the trigger on the same camera you bought. I've searched around and can't locate anything on getting rid of the OBD message. Let me know what you find out.

Thanks.

@cjett - 2 steps away dude 2 steps away :) I will definitely let you guys know if I come across the solution!

Here's a DUMB question...

I bought LED license plate bulbs and LED Reverse bulbs, but I cannot figure out WHERE the heck they go..?

I'm sure it's obvious, but I must be having a senior moment so if someone can shed some light (pun intented) I would greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Mine have built-in resistors, work great and no codes. That'd annoy the hell out of me.

is the camera adjustable? I think most aftermarket rear view cameras are useless unless you can actually see the rear bumper.

fullmetaljacket- how far away is the bumper from the 1.0 marker?
