Sway end link replacement question (yes I know there is the DIY write up)

Really quick question for anyone. Can I replace one sway end link, without having both front wheels lifted? As in, just jacking up up one wheel. I don't want to jack up the wheel, take off the link, and have parts start snapping and flying everywhere leaving me S.O.L

Yes. May need to use a jack to move suspension into place to take tension off end link. Should set vehicle on jack stand.

It's going to be tough to do it with one wheel up at a time. Lots of tension there and the opportunity for injury if things slip, etc.

bringing up an old topic, but given I support the front wheels via jack stands. When I take off the the sway ends, will anything go array? Honestly I'm just thrown for a loop with the whole tension concept. I also may just be over-thinking this so if that's the case, feel free to set me straight anyone, thanks in advance.

With both wheels up in the air it'll be easy. If you only had one up the bar would be twisting hence my comments on the tension in the system.

jack stands on suspension/frame area, near the pan, or on jack points?
