Transmission DIY information needed

Hello guys,
I do most of my own work in my X, about a year and a half ago, I had my transmission rebuilt, it's going south again, I had a master kit put in, so it should have lasted a lot longer ! I am currently located in Honduras, Central America, so basically, I will be rebuilding it myself, not a mechanic per se, but I am a Mechanical engineer. I just ordered a banner kit, filter and such. so my question is, does anybody know, where I can purchase a manual for this task? does the bentley manual go into detail as far as the tranny?
Thanks in advance,
Mario.

Pay attention to the repair kit he got in order for you to buy it

I have built several engines and done just about everything on cars. But I would not touch a AT trans rebuild for anything. No way. Very complicated and if you install something just a little bit off it will die on you in short order. Not worth it. I could see rebuilding a manual trans myself, or a diff. But not an AT trans.

AHHH That's just crazy talk. Auto trannys are easy. I have done many and never had a problem. The # 1 thing to remember is to never dry anything with a towel or cloth. After cleaning parts in solvent, air dry only. Use only transmission assembly lube and no Vaseline. You must have an ATSG manual or equivalent for the particular transmission.... This is your schematic for the job. If you don't have a proper manual for the tranny, DON'T BOTHER trying it. Good luck, and let us know about your success.

For those following, I have rebuilt the tranny, unfortunately, I am getting the same problem, reverse is failing, I did find the snap ring on the reverse clutch disengaged, so I thought it was only that. but, let me tell you tho, it took me a couple of days, to work on it, but it's really no big deal, I'm sure I can take it down, and rebuild again in less time next time. :)
not sure what else could be wrong tho, car isn't throwing any codes, will keep you updated.
thanks for the support !
