Did not want to hijack "Does your X do this too?" thread so...
 

I've noticed in the past month that my car has stopped leaving the drivers door unlocked while open. If I hit the Key fob the drivers door locks when open. Any idea what might have failed?

Someone had a 'door sensor' go bad that would say their door was open when it was actually closed and had the opposite problem (door wouldn't lock when it was closed).

Unfortunately I don't remember the part. Search "actuator" and you might find the thread.....but some reason, I thought it might be member "ekvals"

I guess I sort of ruled out any sensor because all the other things associated with the door being open or closed (lights, warnings, ect) act normaly. Time to yank it all apart I suppose.
