Help W/Cooling System ??

As it was relatively cold this morning in VA, my X5 never warmed up even after a 35 mile commute. The gauge barely moved out of the blue zone. Any advice on what the potential problem could be would be appreciated. Thanks

Possibly thermostat blown, or bad temp sensor. Did you have your heat going full blast sucking all the warmth out of the system?

Thanks for the response, Yes the heat was on high and when I turned it down the temp appeared to rise a little but never made it out of the left side third on the temp gauge. What does it cost to remedy the sensor?

Thanks

If the temp rose at all, it's probably not a sensor. Sounds more like a blown thermostat.

Your thermostat is stuck open. Get a new one.

Another question is when the heat was on was it hot? If not I would go with the bad thermostat.

Was the Thermostat, being repaired today. Thanks to all that replied with help.
