Rotor is hung I think.....?

I changed my rotors on my X and it has a vib in the wheel. Last night i was able to hear a slight creek, creek as I was going slow in an underground garage.

If the rotor is hung a bit, can I simply re-compress the caliper pistons, or is it something more complex? :banghead:

Did you change your pads too? Are they oem or aftermarket rotors?

Problem solved

I found the problem, I pulled the calipers and found a piston hung up just slightly as I used to much caliper quite. It hung the just ever so slightly. I do not understand why it is still pulling to the right though, from a brake change????

Thanks anyway..

Because the coefficient of friction is different left to right (ie contamination on the pad or rotor, or burnishing of one pad because it was hanging up).

Or because the pads aren't being applied with the same pressure left to right, due to a caliper hanging up or a hydraulic issue.

If all that checks out, check tire pressures.
