creating an AV input

on this site it explains how you make an av input if you have a tv tuner.

Has anyone don this and what is the sound quality like? will the picture show whilst moving or will just the sound play?

1) sound is always in mono through the TV tuner

2) video is not playable while car in motion without Nav-TV or TVonNav or similar module.

thanks, i didnt want the video to work whilst in motion anyway. This way i dont have to use an FM modulator if the people in the back watching dvd want to listen through the cars speakers, i just pu in in AV mode!!
