Yes the girl was drunk (of her own admission and breathalyzer) but didn't even receive a citation! I came over a blind hill to see dirt and rocks all over the road (a big truck had lost it's load all over the road), slowed down to a safe speed, and she came flying over the hill. She slammed on her breaks and swerved to avoid hitting me, but from the police report only started braking about two car lengths before she hit me. Everyone walked away (the driver was cut out of her car with the hydraulic cutter from the fire truck since her car was pretty smashed in) but I have a shoulder injury that will require surgery next month. I was downshifting when she hit me, so it jammed my shoulder, but otherwise everyone faired very well.
