i cant find the 1 dvd option anywhere. Desert BMW here in Vegas said its a 2 dvd set (1 east coast 1 west coast) for $200.00 ...Henderson NV didnt even register on my map the other day, it was frustrating

Did you get this working? If so, how is it? Legit? Up to date?

joeboch348 01-04-2011 10:14 PM

i have a bootleg 2009 dvd supposidly with speed cams. can i make a copy of it?

flying 01-05-2011 01:30 PM

not yet, no feedback to pass, still trying to figure out how to fix the dvd player. either nobody knows, or nobody wants to comment on the 2 posts in the nav section that other people are having issues with as well......soon as i can figure out which unit to swap out, or if there is another way to fix it, i'll pass the word....

sidmiller 01-05-2011 01:46 PM

Okay, thanks. Sorry you are having so much frustration. Good luck on it, though. I may order the disk myself. If so, I will give you an update on my end.

joeboch348 01-05-2011 01:46 PM

when my nav unit went. i had the older cd unit. i replaced it with a newer(dvd) used one which came with a new bootlegged dvd and a newer version of software than bmw even offers.

These are also bootleg discs and some drives will not accept them. Do a search against the website and you'll find it under a number of names. Some people a fine with their discs, others not and get short shift from the company.

Whois checks will show a UK address, but a bit more digging tracks it back to Bucharest. May be fine, but looks a bit dodgy to me.
