Retractable Cargo Cover
 

In reference to the article about the retractable cargo cover, I was wondering if anyone here did it ?

As my old style (2002) cargo cover squeaks and rattles all the time.

another with the cargo cover removed and close up of where it is fixed.

hmm that looks like all you have to do is buy the retractable cover and snap you old folding one out and put this one inplace doesnt it?

I just went to pick mine up after buying the truck last Saturday. My cargo cover does not look like the one pictured above mine looks like an accordion.
is that because its and 2002 model?

Are you guys saying this cover will make noise, if so I will keep an ear out.

unfortunately yes....

i never had mine in long enough to know.
when my X5 was delivered, it was missing a part
and i never had it replaced. overall though, the older
style just seems flimsy to me.

it does not bother me to take it out.... easy fix.

i think the change was made for production date 08/2003
