There are 2 tranny shops I have on my list of ref. One in CT who is the ZF rebuilder of all rebuilders. So faster turnaround, but you get their reman. units - core swap I presume.

Then there is a joint in NJ. I can't recall their name. They do High End Modified Valve Bodys, etc.....I would seek them if I went for a rebuild.

Who is your guy in CT? I have no issues with my tranny so far ('03 4.6is with 121k miles), but I'd like to have this ready for when the inevitable happens.

By the way, my 4.6 has had the stock wheel and tire set up since day 1. Nothing but Michelin Diamaris all around and all 4 tires changed together, never just fronts or rears.
