Double Din upgrade recomendations
It has been a few years, but I am back. Sold my '01 X5 three years ago and just replaced it with an '06 yesterday. I have a nice Kenwood 8120 that I would like to install and looking for suggestions. Are there any Bezel kits out there for this kind of install and is there a way to keep steering wheel controls? Also will I lose the computer that also shows in the dash (mpg, avg. speed, trip, time, date, etc...)

I think the OP means double din fascia kit ,not headunits, since he already has one!
Lots of fascia kits on Ebay bmw x5double din items - Get great deals on eBay Motors, Electronics items on eBay.com! I believe its possible to get a cable to keep the S/W controls. |

If you want to keep enough of your radio bracket to put the original radio back in the dash then try the Metra bezel. It is usually around $20. Do an online search for Metra 95-9308B.
The only catch here is that your screen will not be spaced evenly vertically as the top of your radio bracket will still be in place. The Dynavin fits the same way. |

The only way to have a headunit that reads the ibus would be carpc. |
I have a bezel in the for sale section. I paid $300 for it because I wanted something that looked factory and not plastic. I had a kenwood 9140 mounted. Send me an offer if interested.
