those bulbs are leds for stock oem angel eyes. i don't think 2000 4.4 came with them.

I think whoever answered the email from umnitza looked deep enough into it... I'd guess they saw E53 on the list it fits and said yes without realizing they only fit in E53's after the production split...

So which ones will fit?

Do you have stock angel eyes?

No - I have a 2000 with Xenon lights which don't have angel eyes. These are the ones I see on their website:

Predator Chromium Angel Eyes (X5)

Predator Orion V2 LED Angel Eyes 00-02 BMW X5

You have to open your lenses to install those.

I know - but will either work? What's the difference...

One has a longer life and less bright. One has balasts. One has a remote. They will both fit.
