E70 Wheels on an E53
I have some BMW OEM Style 212 wheels that I want to put on my E53. Is this possible? The bolt pattern seems the same but will I need to do anything else to make these fit?

E70 uses center bore of 74.1mm.
E53 has center bore of 72.5mm. You need to use hubcentric rings that convert to the larger 74.1mm bore size. Or you can use these too: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-related-...2-5-5x130.html |

I run a set of 20" Style 214's on my E53 in the summer and the only thing I need to do is put on the hub centric rings. You can also find these rings very cheap on eBay. |
I had those same exact wheels on my E53 and even after the hubcentric rings it still vibrated. I even added 25mm spacers to the rears because they looked flushed into the rear quarter panels and still didn't like the look. Don't do it. Sell those and get yourself any other E53 rims (I sold mine and got Style 87's).
