tickover

Hi, I have a 30d pre- facelift and was wondering how to up the thickover by 100rpm. Is this a dealer thing or can I do via a scanner.
Cheers in advance:thumbup:

More like ECU tuning. Anyway, why would you even want to do that?

I think its ticking over a liitle slow(600rpm) as it doesnt seem very smooth. If I increase the tickover via the peddle by 100rpm alls feels good, Ive heard of BMW increasing it also to get rid of idle vibration.

The correct solution would be to find out why your idle rpm is slightly lower then normal and fix that issue. Is it behaving like that subtle drop of RPM when you turn on the AC on a small engine car?

No with all electrical things off it still seems low... Not sure what it should be.
