HELP: does anyone know how to connect the wires for brake pad sensor?
 
hi all
here is the problem, i have replace my rear pads and rotors, and i noticed the pad sensor, that connects to the car is broken...so i bought the socket that connects to the brake sesnor,...but now how do i connect the wires to the exsiting wires hanging out from the car?
there are 2 white wires...and i think couple wires that are from inside the car hanging out..

There are two plugs, one on the sensor, and one on the vehicle end. They sit inside a protective box to keep the elements out. It sounds like you need the plug on the vehicle end, as well as a new sensor, if both are damaged.

Read this article, and look specifically at step 14, and the relevant photos in that step.

i have added a pic,
the red cirlce is what i meant......i have a new socket and 2 wires....and the existing wires are hanging from the vehicle end..so im not sure how to connect the 2 white wires to the wires that hangs from the car...

You have which new socket, the sensor end or the vehicle end?

If it is just a case of joining the two separate wires I would think that two splices with crimp and solder connections would work fine, then wrap it to protect it. It is just a continuity loop.

I have both new brake pad sensor, and the socket from vehicle end...
