$100 on the spot to permanently remove my SELF LEVEL SUSPENSION ERROR

Seriously, $100 on the spot if you can permanently remove/disable my SELF LEVEL SUSPENSION ERROR light!!...That’s it! If you have a GT1 and KNOW how to do it PM me…if you have to travel and want to come meet me, I can make it worth your while.

On a side note…Not only is PERILLO BMW in CHICAGO about 99% incompetent in resolving the issue, but the 1% of that shop that does know, is completely unwilling and unresponsive in helping….It’s not like I was ever asking for anything for free? You’d think a normal business would want to provide a quality service for money right? Not PERILLO…..Stay away at all cost! It's nothing personal it's just business.

I'm in Chicago, PM me

If you mean the air suspension system, it was removed and coil overs were retrofitted. Hence the need to have the 'sensor' deactivated.

Thanks man, PM sent...

You'll need to recode the car so that it thinks it wasnt ever fitted with air suspension. If you were just telling the stealer to shut the light off, they're too dumb to figure out you want the car recoded. It takes ~20min to do.

Thanks..I understand, I went to the dealer knowing that needed to be done. They 'assured' me they did know how to do it. I was charged an hours' work of labor. Not that i care about the charge...i just want it taken care of.

The issue is there is no true BMW procedure to do this...just like recoding LCM's for cars that switch from halogen to HID or from incandescent to LED tails. The tech needs to know what to do. Seems that you've got it sorted.

Perhaps you could document and post the procedure so that those of us with GT1's can DIY.
