X5 2002

I recently bought a 2002 X5 after 1 day it didnt want to start. It was making clicks on the starter, so a friend of mine told me it was the starte so i bought the starter and it wasnt it, so i jump start the car and it turn on. so I bought a new battery and it started the car right away, so i drove the car for a few miles came back home parked it on the drive way and after that it didnt want turn on again, I have replace the battery and the started, and I also check all the fuses and the are good, please help with any suggestion of what could be wrong with the car. thnaks

Is it possible the battery wasn't charged completely and the startup then short drive wasn't able to charge it properly? What brand & type of battery is it?

How about the alternator? Jump start it then check the voltage across the battery at idle. What do you get? Sounds like it's not charging.

Has the blower resistor been replaced? It is very common for them to go bad and drain the battery.
