New wiper and/or spring on the arm itself.

i had the same problem where the wiper did not make full contact, i found out that where the wiper arm pivot with the spring was seezing up from dirt buildup, a quick wash n some wd-40, work it back n forth a couple of times, it now wipes like new,

I don't know, but the nut on mine worked loose and the wiper started wiping the tailgate. Crazy.

Replace the entire arm; you can free up the spring or the rusted joint... but it is a band-aid. The new arm is probably part# 61 62 7 068 076 and costs about $35-40 dollars (Check this). Changes in 5 mins with one bolt, works perfectly after that.

yes and no....
I replaced the arm on mine recently. Between that and the aftermarket Bosch blade, it makes full contact after the rear defroster has been on for a bit. Otherwise, on a ~cold wipe~, it does not make full contact FWIW |
