Rear wiper problem/top dosnt clear
 

Has anybody else had this problem,when using the rear wiper the sweep misses about the top 10 inches,I have changed the wiper blade and tried tightening up the wiper arm nut but still the same,I was thinking it could be the wiper arm itself ?

It isn't the blade or the nut, it is the hinge in the wiper arm.

Lift the arm off the window and work some grease into the hinge so that it moves freely and the spring can hold tension on the window.

Corrosion and lack of use makes it bind up.

Also make sure the rubber wiper material extends a couple mm's beyond the metal insert. If it was cut too short the rubber cannot follow the contour of the rear window and will miss the top part. If this is the case you can get a wiper refill from the dealer for ~$2 or $4, very easy DIY to replace these.

I'm having this same issue....can someone post a detailed write up on where to 'grease' the hinge? Is it the spring or the actual joint? Thanks!

It's the joint. Mine did this as well. Sprayed with WD40 and wroked the pivot for a few sec and all was right in the world.
