Looking for post explaining 'high beam' with adaptive bi-xenon
 

Some time ago I read a really good explanation of how the "high beams" work with bi-xenon. In short, the bi-zenon is un hooded on high beam.

What I am looking for is how the separate high beam lamp is used. Mine come on when you 'flash' the headlamps from the stalk but do not come on with the permanent high beam position.

I read this was in fact correct.

Anyone know where the post was or can give confirmation of above ?

Sorry all. Found what I needed. The H1's which I am calling main beams are just the DRL's or flashed light.

Wish I could have deleted post above..
