Need Advise on New Tire Purchase

I need to replace my 04 X5 Tires for 19" staggard rims. Im currently using Michelin Latitude Diamaris but they are crazy expensive and not very good for winter weather.

What are you guys using?

i you buy just winter tires for your only set of wheels then you will be disappointed in the summertime. look at the bridgestone dueler brand and they might have an all season

After much research and checking all the reviews that are out there. I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico (All Season tires) last month. So far, I've been very happy with the purchase. My driving experience became more enjoyable, compared to when I had the Diamaris.

I too run pirelli assimetrico's. It's like all the noise went away coming from the diamaris. They even handled the vermont snow well.

another vote for the Pirellis

the X is headed up to TireRack in a few months for its third set

Look at the Conti DWS. Good all season, priced reasonably, and come in typical staggered sizes.

I have these as well. Been on for about 6 months and so far so good. I can't comment on how they are in snow as we hardly get any here.

I only have about 5k on them, but so far so good, imo. Keep in mind that I didn't get an alignment done after installing these tires. I figured that I got 40+k out of my last set of Toyo's, so the alignment must be good, but as you can see from my photos, it sort of appears the inside of the passenger side rear is getting slightly wear. I may take the X to get aligned soon to prevent this from getting worse. These are sizes 285/45/19.

Also, noise has been really good so far. We will see if this changes as they wear.

First photo is drivers side, second is passenger.

I've had mine for several months and they're wearing very well, work well in NC mountain weather as well. I had most of the camber (staying within spec) taken out of the rear when I had these installed - the prior Dunlops wore terribly on the inside 1.5" with the camber.
